SOS Shade Fabrications is a privately owned Australian company based in Queensland, Australia, and is headed up by Tim Barron.
Tim is a qualified Sail Maker and Marine Trimmer has worked in the industry for over 30 years. In 2016 Tim made his dream a reality and started his own business in Shade Sail Manufacturing.
During his career, he has gained years of experience in the shade and membrane industry in both fabrication, installation, and project management.
Tim recognised the need for an organisation such as SOS to support and assist companies within the shade and membrane industry. He was constantly faced with the ongoing issues of skills shortage in the industry and identified the need to support those that are having issues with in-house fabrication & shade project management businesses.
With Tim's many years of experience, he is always willing to provide advice regarding your fabric applications, designs, connection details and to work with you to ensure the success of your project.
Tim and the SOS team are all experienced shade and membrane fabricators that take pride in their work, we have spent a great deal of time over the years sourcing products so we can supply our customers with only the best quality.
Our business is to support other businesses in the shade and membrane industry by providing outsourced fabrication services.
